Will Medicare pay for a power wheelchair or scooter?
If you qualify, Medicare will pay up to 80% of the cost of a chair or scooter. If you have supplemental insurance such as Medicaid or private insurance, and qualify through their policy, they will pay the remaining 20%. In most cases, you will pay little or nothing for a power chair or scooter.

How do I know if I qualify?
All you have to do is call us at 1-800-309-1667, answer a few questions, and we handle the rest. We will have to prove that the chair is medically necessary through a prescription from your doctor and indicate that you can safely operate the chair or scooter. It’s that easy!

What if my insurance policy doesn’t cover Durable Medical Equipment?

How quickly can I receive my new power chair or scooter?
Typically we can determine if you qualify within the same day. The timely process in the procedure is having the doctors complete and return the Certificate of Medical Necessity. This can take anywhere from a few days to a month. As soon as we know you qualify and have the CMN, we can deliver your new power chair or scooter the next day.
